Trauma Counselling

Whether your trauma comes from work, relationships, or you’re carrying old pain from childhood wounds and family patterns, you don’t have to keep holding it all alone. Together, we’ll gently make sense of how these experiences still echo in your life now and find ways to loosen their hold.

In our sessions, there’s no pressure to tell your story before you’re ready. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe for you, building trust and understanding as we go. When helpful, I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) to safely process memories that feel stuck, so they have less power over your present.

We might:

  • Explore how past experiences show up in your body, emotions, and relationships today

  • Develop practical ways to feel safer and more grounded

  • Use EMDR to help untangle memories that feel overwhelming or frozen in time

  • Work with parts of you that hold fear, shame, or self-blame, so you don’t feel so fragmented or stuck

  • Strengthen your sense of self-worth and hope for the future

Trauma work can feel heavy, but it doesn’t have to be done alone. I’m here to hold steady space with you, so you can begin to feel lighter, more connected, and more fully you.
