Terms of Service

These terms apply to www.stephaniegreenpsychology.com.au. By using my website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use my website.

Who I am

I am Stephanie Green, Registered Psychologist (AHPRA registration PSY0001639062), trading as Stephanie Green Psychology (ABN 62 258 248 418). My practice is based on the Central Coast of NSW and I work by telehealth with adults across Australia.

Who can use my website

My website and my services are for adults. You must be 18 years or older to book with me or to use the tools on my website.

General information only

My website, my blog, my emails and my free tools, including The Masking Audit and Mean Things My Brain Says, offer general information and self-reflection. They are not psychological advice, assessment, diagnosis or treatment, and they do not take the place of seeing a health professional about your own situation.

Using my website, my tools or my contact form does not make you my client.

If you are my client, my client consent form also applies to you. If anything in my consent form differs from these terms, my consent form applies.

My website is not a crisis service

I do not provide crisis or emergency support. If you are in immediate danger, call 000. For support at any hour, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Appointments and fees

My current fees are listed on my Fees and FAQ page. Fees may change from time to time.

If you need to cancel or move an individual session, please give me at least 24 hours notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged the full session fee.

ADHD Support and Skills Group

My group is a skills and support group. It is not therapy and it does not replace individual treatment. Membership is paid monthly. You can cancel your membership at any time, and there are no ongoing fees once you cancel.

Refunds and your consumer rights

If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact me and I will look into it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

No guarantee of outcomes

Everyone is different, and I cannot guarantee any particular result from my services, my tools or the information on my website.

Medicare and other rebates

Rebate information on my website is general. Whether you are eligible depends on your own circumstances and your referral, and rebate amounts are set by Medicare, your health fund or your insurer and can change.

My content

I own the content on my website, including my text, tools, graphics and logo, unless I say otherwise. You are welcome to view it, share links to it and print it for your own personal use. Please do not copy, republish, sell or adapt it without my written permission. To ask for permission, email me at admin@stephaniegreenpsychology.com.au.

Using my website

Please use my website lawfully and respectfully. Do not try to disrupt it, gain access you are not entitled to, or submit information that is false or belongs to someone else.

Links and other services

My website links to services run by other organisations, including my booking portal, my payment provider and social media platforms. I do not control those services and I am not responsible for their content, availability or policies. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Privacy

I handle your personal information as set out in my Privacy Policy, which is available on my website.

Accuracy and liability

I take care to keep my website accurate and up to date, but I cannot promise it is always complete, current or free from errors, or that it will always be available. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for loss arising from your use of my website or your reliance on the general information on it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Feedback and complaints

If you have a concern about my website or my services, please contact me first so I can try to resolve it. You can also contact the Health Care Complaints Commission in NSW, or the health complaints body in your state or territory.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, and it applies from the date shown below. If I change my fees or my cancellation terms, I tell my current clients in advance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
